Richard Mooney
MD, FACOG, FPMRS

Dr. Richard Mooney is a board-certified urogynecologist, specializing in pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery to help treat urinary incontinence, prolapse, and pelvic floor disorders. He is the only fellowship-trained urogynecologist in the North State and has been serving women’s gynecologic and urogynecology needs since 1995.

Dr. Mooney is an experienced reconstructive surgeon, assisting women with their urinary health. He established the state-of-the-art Asuriti Center for Continence and Pelvic Wellness in 2007, a practice within Women’s Healthcare Associates of Redding, to diagnose and treat pelvic floor disorders causing urinary incontinence, rectal incontinence, and pelvic organ prolapse.

With a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Dr. Mooney received accreditation in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Mooney is affiliated with several Redding area hospitals, including Mercy Medical Center and Shasta Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Mooney has a passion for helping women understand their specific health problems and enabling them to make the best treatment decisions. He enjoys providing care for women in all stages of life.

I am writing to advise you that Women’s Healthcare Associates of Redding will be closing its practice effective March 3, 2023. I will be taking a leave of absence until relocation has been decided. I strongly encourage you to seek medical care with a new Obstetrician and/or Gynecologist. I will no longer be able to fill any medication after March 10, 2023.

In addition, if you want your medical records to be transferred, a link to Professional Copy Service of Redding is below. Once they receive the request for records they will send them to the new office location of your request or it is recommended to get the PDF copy. They do charge a flat fee of $25.

Hanh Cline, PA-C
Physicians Assistant

Hanh Cline is a Certified Physicians Assistant, that has been with the Women’s Healthcare Associates of Redding practice since 2012. Hanh specializes in general gynecologic issues and women's healthcare examinations. She also plays a supportive role with Asuriti Center for Continence and Pelvic Wellness in the treatment of female pelvic floor issues and urinary incontinence.

Hanh received her medical training at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed her internships in medicine and endocrinology at Milwaukee. Her medical background includes Urgent Care at Steven Point, Family Practice in New Richmond, and Emergency Medicine in St. Paul.

She has lived in Shasta County since 2003, after spending the first 10 years of her career in family practice, internal medicine, and urgent care.
